Hi, I’m Danielle!
I’m a tech professional with a multifaceted background in security, network, and systems engineering, devops, intelligence, research, IT, policy, writing, and so much more!

── My experience ──
As a security, network, and systems engineer, I’ve enjoyed solving complex problems across multiple systems, mitigating risks, threats, and vulnerabilities, as well as optimizing for up-to-date, efficient, and secure operations. I take pride in the fact that I’ve been able to take on many different roles within the tech space and I look forward to learning and expanding more in my career.
In addition, I’ve also worked as an intelligence analyst, have written countless security policies, and I also write recreationally about emerging technologies. I enjoy taking on challenges, learning, and deciphering puzzles in both my personal and professional life.
I feel very strongly that security education is critical. I enjoy breaking ideas down and making them fun and easy for everyone to understand. I find that technology can be intimidating for many, and it’s our responsibility as tech professionals to not gatekeep, but instead open up and share our knowledge. Take a look at my educational YouTube channel for some examples!
On a more personal note, I’m originally from the US, but I’m currently loving life in The Netherlands. I enjoy fencing, reading, sci-fi (especially Star Trek!), philosophy, history, theology, gaming, and architecture. I speak English, Spanish, and some Russian—and I can hold my own in Dutch, as well (as long as no one speaks too quickly). Aangenaam! 🙂
